Jennifer was born in a small village in the SE of Spain called Santo Angel, Murcia (Spain). She is the youngest of the 4 sisters. She grew up surrounded by music, singing and dancing thanks to her family and that love carried out into volunteering and eagerly participating in school shows, plays, musicals, classical texts & poems recitals and dances where she shinned with outstanding charisma, sassiness and confidence for her young age. She was often called a "Contestona" as she would always ask "why" to everything. She loved knowing everything about everything, she was a very curious child, something that will carry her entire life and that later will be very useful for the creation of her characters. Doing her first play at the age of 10, where she played 3 different roles and very much enjoyed the thrill of the quick changes! She loved watching movies and sitcoms and wanted to be just like Hanna Montana!
In high school she joined the school choir where she trained her voice professionally and learned to read and write music. She did her first musical CHICAGO at the age of 12 and toured with the choir where they sang songs in many different languages. She was a dedicated student and also showed great skills in Art. She loved writing songs, poems, stories, and also carried on singing, dancing and painting/drawing.
Jennifer always knew she wanted to be an actress and performer so she studied at IES Ramon y Cajal, one of the 2 best Collages for Performing Arts, Singing, Music and Dance where she fell in love with other subjects such as Music Language and Practice, Music Analysis, History of Music, Philosophy and Literature. During the 1st year she did OLIVER TWIST and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. 2nd year she starred at EL BAUL (which was a mix of many musicals where she played many roles including Éponine from LES MISERABLES).
After graduating with top grades and unconsciously realising, that Murcia was too small for her big dreams, she decided, just 4 days after her 18th birthday, to move by herself to Birmingham, England, to learn English while working as an au pair. During that time, she chose to apply to acting schools and was accepted into the University of Wolverhampton, School of Performing Arts, where she studied for three years.
During her degree Jennifer fell in love with Shakespeare, classical texts, improvisation, and comedy. For her dissertation, she explored: “Devising a Solo Performance: Key Techniques and Performance Strategies Used by a Theatre Solo Performer to Keep the Audience Engaged.” She wrote the script and four original songs, directed the piece, and designed the set, lighting, sound effects, and choreography, essentially creating a full musical show. Through this process, she learned countless key skills that contributed to earning her (Hons) Drama degree when she graduated in 2019. During her last year she also played Viola from TWELFTH NIGHT her first Shakespearian role.
Right before Covid she was cast as a lead role ALICE at the play SHErlock Holmes an all female cast show in DERBY THEATRE. She was also cast as an ensamle for the musical CHICAGO at BIRMINGHAM. Due to covid these productions were postponed so she decided to take this time to hone her acting skills and joined the 21 day Selftape challenge by the casting director Manuel Puro and other acting courses. While learning all about the art of selftaping she started studying screen acting more in depth. She continued learning from and started studying new practitioners: Stanislavski, Meisner, Chekhov, Brecht, Artaud, Grotowski, Michael Howard, Adler, Suzuki, Lecoq, Boal, Uta Hagen, Peter Brook, Viola Spolin, Lecoq, Laban...
In February 2022 she was cast as the lead female singer for Holiday Village Ibiza so she flew to Turkey for 2 months to learn 10 shows: a high-energy rock set featuring classics from Queen and Bon Jovi, a soulful funk repertoire inspired by Aretha Franklin and Bruno Mars, an indie/alternative festival set with artists like Coldplay and Florence + The Machine, a commercial party set spanning 2000s to modern chart hits, a Latin show with icons like Gloria Estefan and Shakira, a cinematic soundtrack set including songs from La La Land, Titanic..., an 80s tribute featuring Madonna and Prince, a club/rave set with dance anthems from Calvin Harris, Daft Punk..., a pop set of global hits from Adele, Whitney Houston..., and a musical theatre repertoire featuring classics from Les Misérables, Mamma Mia! etc.
In 2023 she moved to London where she focused on casting director workshops and signed with AKM Talent management. She started producing short scenes and short films to help build a community and stay creative which had a massive response. She attended CANNES FILM FESTIVAL, HOLLYSHORTS, BFI FF... and was invited to many For Your Consideration Screenings fully immersing herself into the industry. She started studying psychology and spent all these years reading about psychology and neuroscience, deepening her understanding of human behavior, emotional patterns and the "why", and the complexity of the mind so she could bring this into her work to create layered, authentic, and emotionally truthful performances. Through this journey, she stablished a deep understanding of who she is as both a person and an artist, her values, her personal and artistic anchors, and a clear sense of what she stands for and wants to express through her work.
Her Goal: to fully understand each character psychologically, enabling her to create and embody very distinctly different personas from one to another. Jennifer wants to make sure every character feels unique, specific, and deeply individualised, with clear contrasts in voice, physicality, and emotional truth.
